You Can Help A Veteran Get A PTSD Service Dog

22422 stands for 22 Push-ups For 22 Veterans that tragically die every day from suicide.

Service Dogs are proven to reduced symptoms of PTSD and depression when paired with a veteran. About 1 veteran in 6 suffers from PTSD. Unfortunately, waiting lists for veterans in need of service dogs are long. The process is time-consuming and expensive, costing as much as $25,000 per dog.

Suicides among U.S. Special Operations Command tripled in 2018 while suicides among active duty Marine Corps and the Navy reached a 10-year high. The veteran suicide rate is 50% higher than the general population, adjusting for age and gender. More than 6,000 veterans commit suicide each year.

We are raising funds for Paws of War's service dog training program. Paws of War has over 100 service dog teams currently in training, and can do more with your support.

100% of your donation supports Paws of War a 501(c)(3) organization, contributions are tax-deductable to the limit allowed by law if the donor itemizes.
