Hi! My name is Sgt E. I was introduced to Hector when he was born. My Captain became fast friends with a dog near the camp, Miss Cardi. She noticed Cardi was pregnant and going to give birth any day and told us that when Cardi gives birth we have to do everything we can to protect those puppies. Sure enough, when Cardi had her puppies, Capt had us out there building an enclosure to keep them safe and feeding them whatever we could sneak out of the chow hall. I was particular drawn to one pup, Hector. Hector is the biggest of the pups, willful, playful, and loves to sleep on his back. He is curious and loves everyone but is truly one of my best friends out here. We all love the puppies but Hector is one of a kind. Myself the Capt and some others will do whatever we can to get them to the United States. Hector doesn’t know evil, only love as the soldiers protect him and his family every day.
I want to continue to give Hector a full belly, hugs on a tough day, and join on the road trips to visit my family. Thank you for considering helping us out and giving Hector a stable home.
